Sweetness was retained!
You didn't lose no sweetness. I don't know how much of a decision it really is, but I feel stupid for coming to the consideration of it so slowly. If we were married at the late-beginning of summer, Mid June or therabouts, we would have a full month of final preparations, without school if we did it in 2010, working 40 hours for two weeks and without work for two weeks if we did it in 2009, before the wedding date. We could go immediately from the wedding to the shore or somewhere on the east coast just to get our stuff together and repacked, and from there to Africa or Latin America or South Asia, far away from cities and terrorism, to spend a month of volunteer time helping women get proper pre-natal care, rebulding a monastery demolished during the Cold War, or teaching street kids to read and write english and to smile and think about trusting adults. We could go from there to Pompeii for two weeks in a rented house. We could go back to that house four years later, decide to buy it, and learn languages with our children on summers abroad.
Any thoughts?
Just in case it did't read as such, put a big old "I don't know, but what do you think about..." in front of all of this.
ALSO
I DO remember
that in addition to grey cat there were grey pumpkins in a giant box, remember?
Do you remember amazing salsa and toasty chips? Let's make some when you come out. We'll make amazing burritos, but not pork because my mom barfs whenever she eats pork. Beans, rice, warm spices, cilantro all bundled up and topped with sour creme and our Jeskashon salsa.

I remember
when we laughed so hard at Beerfest, when we marveled at old cabins, when we high fived over a parking space, and when we snuck upstairs after dinner.
Do you remember when we played with grey cat and were refused our rightful apple basket?

So much
I've debated all morning whether I might legitimately take off for the second half of the day, go home, lay with you, and enjoy life. I'm so glad and relieved that you slept well! AH! Can't wait until four.

Re: HAHAHA is that Ryan over there?
Sorry, the picture is way less descriptive than I originally assumed. Its an advertising pic for a lighting settup people use at weddings. Creepily conventional PLUS crappily club-like. I thought of Kennedy's upcoming nuptials, as I was in a particularly bad mood regarding them.
Fun!

WHAT IF I WAKE UP EVERY MORNING BECAUSE YOU'RE BREATHING ON ME!?!?!??!
Scene:
4:25 Wednesday morning.
Sco's hot, short spurts of breath all over my face.
He wants under the covers. I'm on my side. He climbs over me so he's draped across my ribs.
He's not satisfied.
He wants up my shirt.
I figure he's cold and hold him close.
Internal monster-jess growls in my head. "You need your fucking sleep, idiot. Fuck the cat."
I kick him out.
I feel bad for a thousand minutes and still don't sleep.
I start obsessing about how we're going to fare in a full bed for 2 weeks and then a long time.
And you're not even one iota as cute as Sco. Hate to tell you.
I fret.
I don't sleep thinking about future not sleeping.
I let Sco back in.
I hate life a little bit more than I did yesterday.
End scene.
Write me a scene about how this will all work out.

A little sad a lot excited.
Desmond looked at me today and said, "I don't know what I'll do wit-out you, dear. I'm happy whilst you're here; I'm not whilst you aren't. You a part the family."
And so I thought of drinking cocoa with you to feel better.
I love you with my whole.

I freaking love big red barn doors.
I'd also love inherited money and an upstate New York estate. This is really pretty. Page two. http://neilcowley.com/weddings/2004/skaneateles/index.html

Leaving to Vote!
I'm going to my Parents' house to vote, along with Kate and Pete. I'll make sure to vote democrat down the line on non-legislative state offices, just for my lady-love.
How excited are you about having this!?
Its all I want to do, to share things with you.
Best thing so far: The lead pic, an awesome photo of an amazing gift that I'll finally be able to see everyday once we return from Christmas. I love you so much!
With that in mind, have you looked at the post from yesterday with like four links in it? Its a picture of the wissahickon creek. I thought you'd love the links.
Can't wait to hear your voice.

Homework? For losers.
This is what I'm doing instead of homework:
ELECTION NIGHT MENU
PRIMARIES
PIGS IN LIPSTICK IN THE POLLS
(Mango sausage in crescent rolls with dried cranberry)
with
MAVERIC RICE WITH YES WE PECANS, CANDIDATES AND BITS OF DEMOCRATIC AND REPUBLICAN STATES.
(Wild rice with pecans, dates and dried blueberries and cranberries)
ELECTIONS
GUBERNATORIALS
(Goobers while we watch)
ELECTION NIGHT PARTY
MULLED OVER MY DECISION WINE

YAYYYYYYY!!!!!!
You are not only the smartest person I know, but the most stylish, the most thoughtful, and the all-around best person EVER!
Poor Leigh Anne
We cannot roast a pig.
But we sure as crap can eat it.
Things I've been thinking about: Lots of cleverly displayed cinnamon sticks for mulled wine and cider, one bowl of spicy warm nuts and one bowl of yummy sweet ones on the tables, some sort of amazing pumpkin or squash soup and then our bbq.
Pie and spiced cakes table. Wouldn't it be so cool if they were just displayed on a bunch of vintage cake stands?
Honeymoon!
This is too expensive, but its totally a good start for deciding where we'll go and what we'll do for our honeymoon. Naples is the closest big town to Pompei, connected by a good train line. This house sits on the Amalfi coast, 30 minutes from Pompei, with plenty of stores and fun stuff to do.
I think its a lock, going to this part of Italy and renting a self catering house. We get to sleep in here!

Would you please pick new colors?
I can't customize for crap. Need your sensitive touch... Dying of mediocre color palate... Time running short... AND SCENE!
Thanks, really.
Oh, God, this has been SO special for me!
Really, you are the hero, not me, not this guy.
Aw, shucks, ok, I'm great too.
But seriously, please help me with these colors. Even put it back to the original. This disgusts me. Can't decide on anything better, though.

Just putting this out there...

Your Comment Made My Heart Leap!
Some additional primer for Saturday.
- This is about 500 yards from our house, at the bottom of our street and the trail that follows it.
- Above the fence, less than half a mile upstream, a huge statue commemorates the native inhabitants of the area.
- Less than a mile downstream sits the creepy cave where hermits, the "Monks of the Ridge", prayed and lived in the 17th and 18th centuries.
- Every morning, the trail here, from which this picture was taken, holds moms with strollers, young and old joggers, and wonderful and annoying mountain bikers.
- About ten miles northwest of here, a handsome 26 year old sits desperately in love with you.
Lik-A-Dis!
Get Here Soon! The leaves are beautiful.
Oh, my lover, the commute was gorgeous this morning. Striking in its contrasts, but oddly settling, like a quilt in places. I can't find a good picture yet, as I haven't uploaded my pics to my email, but here's what it will probably look like once you're here.
This is from Belmont Plateau, a place we'll drive through on nearly every trip to anywhere in Center or University City.
